Exterior carpentry is judged both by how it performs and by the finished lines people see from the ground. This Felpham project shows the full visual change rather than presenting only a polished final photograph.
The starting condition
The original gable face consisted of dark, weathered overlapping boards. Several courses were visibly uneven and heavily marked by exposure, making the triangular elevation look tired above the bay window. The before photograph records those conditions clearly and gives a fair comparison for the completed work.
Preparation during the work
Once the old facing had been removed, the gable was prepared behind the new finish. The during image is useful evidence because it shows an important stage that disappears when exterior work is complete. Working carefully around the existing roof edges, window head, cables and restricted access helped keep the new courses aligned with the building.
Felpham gable cladding: before, during and after

The completed result
The finished gable has straight horizontal lines and a lighter appearance that sits cleanly within the existing white verge boards and bay-window details. Publishing all three stages makes the scope and transformation easy for a homeowner to assess when considering similar exterior carpentry or renovation work.
