Built to raise the standard of construction.
Hi, I’m Tom Martin, owner and founder of Sixes Carpentry. After more than a decade working as a carpenter, I started Sixes because I had seen how poor planning, unclear scopes and work carried out without the right specialist experience can leave customers disappointed and create avoidable problems with workmanship.
I built Sixes around a straightforward alternative: use the right skills for each stage, plan carefully, communicate clearly and never compromise on workmanship or safety. Our team specialises in structural timber installations, new-build developments, extensions and renovations, as well as precise fitted carpentry and interiors.
From the first conversation to handover, we keep the programme, budget and key decisions clear. Our aim is to deliver every project to the agreed timescale and budget while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship, construction quality and site safety.

Clear reasons to choose Sixes Carpentry.
Helping create rooms that feel finished, useful and well put together.
A lot of carpentry work is about making the final space feel calm, practical and right for the property. That may mean fitted storage that uses awkward areas properly, a kitchen that sits neatly within a renovation, or roof carpentry that connects accurately with the existing building.
Clearer design communication: layouts, proportions, materials and finish preferences can be reviewed before work begins, helping turn initial ideas into a better-defined and more coordinated brief. When site conditions change, practical options are explained so the project can keep moving.
Based in Bognor Regis. Working across the South Coast.
Sixes Carpentry operates as a service-area business from Bognor Regis, working as a carpenter across Chichester, West Sussex, Hampshire and surrounding South Coast areas. A location, short brief, photographs and approximate timeframe are usually enough to begin the conversation.
